NCCHS Student Leaders Attend NLCC Leadership Event

North Chicago Community High School (NCCHS) student leaders participated in Tuesday's annual Northern Lake County Conference (NLCC) Student Leadership event at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center in Round Lake, Illinois.
The event featured four coach-led sessions on leadership skills, being a leader, school spirit and promotion, and active team building. NCCHS student leaders also had the opportunity to network with participants from other NLCC schools and share experiences.
A keynote speaker shared personal leadership experiences and guided student conversation, and a guest DJ provided music and visuals. Topics of group discussion included staying positive when dealing with criticism and handling adversity from a leadership perspective.
