District 187 School Board Election: Your Voice Matters!
North Chicago, IL (February 9, 2024) - District 187 officially kicked off the school board election outreach and education campaign at the city council meeting on Monday night. In the photo and proud to announce the official kickoff are Amalia Gonzalez (D187 IA Board Member), Leon Rockingham Jr. (Mayor of North Chicago, Illinois), and Dora King (Chair, D187 Independent Authority Board). This initiative aims to empower voters with the information they need to make informed decisions on election day.
North Chicago can vote for the first three school board members in Spring 2025. With elections just one year away, we don't have a day to waste to get ready!

En la foto, y orgullosos de anunciar el inicio oficial, están Amalia González (miembro de la junta directiva D187), Leon Rockingham Jr. (alcalde de North Chicago, Illinois) y Dora King (presidenta de la junta de autoridad independiente del D187). Esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo brindar a los votantes la información que necesitan para tomar decisiones informadas el día de las elecciones.
North Chicago tendrá la oportunidad de votar por los primeros tres miembros de la junta escolar el 19 de marzo de 2025. Con las elecciones a solo un año de distancia, ¡no tenemos tiempo que perder para prepararnos!
