AJK Academy Achieves Level 1 in Marzano's High-Reliability School Model!
AJK Academy is proud to announce it's received Level 1 certification in the Marzano High Reliability Schools™ Model! Level 1 addresses the factors considered foundational to the well-being of a school. The most crucial step at level 1 is for schools to build a safe, supportive, and collaborative culture by operating as a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
Within A Professional Learning Community (PLC) administrators, teachers and staff collaborate and work together to enhance their skills, share knowledge, and improve their practice. The primary goal of a PLC is to create a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters continuous learning and development.
The Marzano High Reliability Schools (HRS) framework, developed by educational researcher and author Dr. Robert J. Marzano, is a comprehensive approach designed to help schools and districts create and maintain a safe and effective learning environment. The framework is built upon five levels of reliability, each representing a specific aspect of a school's operation. The goal is to establish a culture of continuous improvement and effectiveness.
