Dear Green Bay Family,

Despite the cold and snow, we had a very busy January! Our Green Bay Cubbies practiced self-help routines by putting on their boots, coats, hats, scarves, and mittens. Parent Tip: Away from school, you can continue to help your child practice zipping and snapping independently.

On January 24, Green Bay hosted a dedication ceremony to celebrate the artwork of Mr. David Garcia, a Green Bay parent. Mr. Garcia included every Green Bay Cubbie’s handprint and the Green Bay staff and community partners’ handprints to create a magnificent mural on the wall in B-Hall.

Mr. Garcia worked tirelessly day in and day out on the masterpiece, of which all of us were able to be a part..we see ourselves in that masterpiece mural… individually when we see our unique handprint…  and collectively when we see all of our handprints in harmony creating a bright and beautiful image.

Mr. Garcia participates in parent workshops, hosts school-wide events as vice president of the Green Bay Father Initiative Team, and substitute teaches at Green Bay.

Check out the photos from the celebration.
