Mini Medical School In-Person Session: The Heart and CPR, 1/20/24

Select AJK and NMSA students are part of the Rosalind Franklin Mini Medical Program. This program allows students to explore their path toward becoming a doctor. Recently, they had an in-person session at Neal Math and Science Academy where they learned about the heart and CPR. During the session, the students were taught about the functions of the heart, pulse, heart rate, and how to perform CPR. They then concluded the session by discussing nutrition, particularly sodium and sodium content in foods.
