Good morning, This is Principal Kranz. I just wanted to share that some teachers are without power and others are having flickering power. We know you may be impacted too. In times like this we simply do our best but sometimes technology doesn't cooperate. Thanks for your understanding if your teacher is unavailable today. Important/Importante: District 187 schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 12th, 2024, due to the latest weather forecast. Due to the impending weather, we will have e-learning tomorrow on January 12th. Forrestal School building will be closed to staff and students for in-person school. Fully charged chromebooks are being sent home with all students today. Weather Update Jan 9: We are canceling most after-school activities today. PreK-8 Schools: All after-school activities are canceled. Students should follow a Friday schedule and walk or take the bus home as usual. NCCP and all other clubs and activities are canceled. High School: Scheduled home competitions and some practices will continue (confirm with AD Turner). | Por precaución, hoy cancelaremos la mayoría de las actividades extraescolares. Escuelas PreK-8: Se cancelan todas las actividades extraescolares. Los estudiantes deben seguir el horario de los viernes y caminar o tomar el autobús a casa como de costumbre. NCCP y todos los demás clubes y actividades están cancelados. Escuela Secundaria: Continuarán las competencias en casa programadas y algunas prácticas (confirmar con AD Turner).

All after school programs are canceled today. Todos los programas extracurriculares están cancelados hoy. All students will follow the Friday dismissal schedule meaning that NCCP students that walk or take the bus home will do so today unless the office is notified by 2:00pm. NCCP will not host after school clubs today and all other clubs and activities are cancelled.
